We should all do what, in the long run, gives us joy, even if it is only picking grapes or sorting the laundry.

What a man! I fell in love with him when I was eight, and I’ve never fallen out. Charlotte’s Web is a work of literary genius, teaching me so much when I was so small. It was an early age to learn about loss, but somehow, it helped me prepare for adulthood. I’m in the mood to read it again, perhaps for Trish’s Classics Challenge?

I so agree with you, Kailana.

Bellezza, I’ve been rereading it each Fall to my second graders, and I don’t get tired of it. It’s so beautiful, and lovely to read aloud, and I can’t help but shed a few tears at the very end. I totally agree that it is “a work of literary genius.”
