Wrapping It Up

It’s time to wrap up my part in Carl Vs Readers Imbibing Peril, 3 Challenge. It’s been another enjoyable and eerie Fall, thanks to Carl! His reading challenge ran from September 1st to October 31st, and I chose his “Peril the First: Read Four books of any length, from any subgenre of scary stories that you choose.” I read more than four books, and enjoyed each of them. The participants in this challenge read almost 500 books, and you can find their reviews by clicking here. Thanks, Carl, for hosting this fun challenge!

Books Completed:

A Murder of Quality, John le Carré
The Unstrung Harp, Edward Gorey
The Eye of Jade: A Mei Wang Mystery, by Diane Wei Liang
Varjak Paw, S.F. Said

Gossamer, Lois Lowry

Thanks, Nymeth. Carl’s challenges are so much fun. Now I’m in the finishing stage for a number of my challenges. Time to look for a new direction/challenge!

Thanks, Rhinoa. The Varjak Paw books were great. I hope he’s working on more of them!

Thanks, Petunia. I enjoyed the books I read, but most were pretty short. 1000 pages sounds like a massive accomplishment to me (!) so congratulations to you, too!
